Our Editorial Policy

Advancing Excellence In Educational Resources

There is a lot of noise today. Online, in the media, and in our faces every day. To cut through all the noise, we are committed to creating resources that are better, different, and more meaningful. Practical, insightful tools that bring hope, help, and clarity.

Defining An Editorial Policy

An editorial policy establishes the standard for all written content, educational resources, and treatment curricula to ensure their accuracy, clarity, and relevance. Each piece created to serve the New Leaf Recovery community must reflect our values, be clinically accurate, and provide practical support for our clients and their families.

Policy Highlights

Our editorial policy is guided by three primary principles: Accuracy, integrity, and practical application. Every resource and curriculum we create must align with these principles to best serve our community and make a positive impact on those who need it most.

We are also committed to upholding high ethical standards and adhering to industry regulations to promote safety and minimize harm. All sources are cited and revisions documented to promote transparency.

A Process For Success and Impact

To ensure we meet our high standards for quality content and resources, we have developed a repeatable process for success that keeps our materials on track and in focus.

  • Contributors: All resources are planned, written, and created by skilled professionals on or in collaboration with our team here at New Leaf Recovery.
  • Thorough Research: Content and resources are created and consumed differently today than 10 to 20 years ago. With scholarly research and skilled execution, our resources are of the highest quality and reflect deep, insightful research.
  • Medical Reviews: Each piece is reviewed by our medical team to verify its accuracy and vet the cited research.
  • Updates and Reviews: All resources are reviewed and updated as needed to ensure the information available is as accurate and timely as possible.
